Working on paperwork

We have started working on our paperwork. we only have a few more things to finish up and those are the things we need to have scheduled in before we send it all in. Those include, the fire inspection, physicals for Justin & I, and the final walk-through with our adoption agency social worker. We worked on this paperwork for about an hr or 2 the other night. It was nice to just sit down and go through it together. I am so glad it isn't that hard, just time consuming.

We still need to find somewhere to take our adoption/parenting classes we need 24 hours total and would love to get it done in just 2 weekends or something like that. We don't have much time during the week to travel too far for classes, plus with gas prices being so high I would love to just get them over with in a couple weekends.

We have some friends that just brought their adoptive daughter home from Guatemala, she is so cute and we are sooooo happy for them. It is so wonderful how so many things can fall together so well when God is in charge of your life. I see this couple with their daughter and just can't wait for my turn. I know it will come soon!

Homestudy Paperwork

I am soo stressed. There is so much paperwork to do and we haven't begun any of it. I really want to start, but want to do it as a couple with my hubby. We also have a laminate floor that needs to be put in and can't find anyone to do it. My uncle was suppose to help, so we waiting for the weather to be warmer, and now he doesn't seem like he wants to help us. So that is frustrating. AHHHHH Through all this stressful time, God has blessed us with a little financial help. He is really proving to go above and beyond what we expected. Which is so true of him. He can do so much more than we can even imagine. I am looking forward to all the blessings he has in store and everything else he will be doing for us.

More Paperwork

Ok...so ... we got more adoption paperwork. Wow is there ever a ton of it.. Mostly references because everything you do needs to have someone give you a reference so that they know you won't hurt the kid when you get them :) We also have to do a financial statement, which isn't too bad, a few other pieces of paperwork. I am also looking at different places to get 24 hours of training. That will be so much fun...haha.

This blog will be short.. I am starting to get a impatient. I haven't heard anything from our agent yet. We haven't heard that she has received our application. I know that this is just the beginning of the waiting, buti don't know how I will do with it :) Maybe we will hear something tomorrow!
