Waiting

I went in to see Zane this morning! It was really tough for me and I didn't want to, but deep down I knew I needed too. He looked good, of course face was a little red and lips were swollen. I saw the skin graph area where they are taking the graphs from, tried not to look at that..kinda yucky. :) Courtney said he opened his eyes and looked at her this morning. She was very encouraged to see the eyes.

Zane is currently in surgery..#2 or 3. This surgery will take about 2 hrs. for other updates check out the blog. I know Courtney posted this morning, I was sitting beside her when she did it.

Boston

Well I'm in Boston with my family. Things have been stable with my brother. We are praying he will stay stable and continue to improve. We know there will be small & large hiccups during this journey, but we also know we serve a God much larger than the problem.

We left yesterday morning and got in around midnight last night. We dropped Titus off with grandparents so he could have a good time while we were gone. I am looking forward to going out into the city today to see some sights and just look around. I can't stay in a hospital just waiting. I feel like I'm sitting here just waiting for something to happen.

Prayers

For those of you who follow my blog & don't know what has been going on today. My brother was in a very bad electrical accident and is currently in ICU at a Boston Hospital. I am not good at explaining everything. I feel like I have talked too much today. Here is a link to my sister-in-laws blog that explains more. We are just praising a wonderful God that he is alive!!

September

I am amazed that we are on the last day of September where has this year gone. Seems like just yesterday we were learning to write 2010 on forms and now we are over half way through. September has been a busy month. We have been spending extra time with family. Justin worked a little more this month and so Titus and I have had a good amount of bonding time.Titus got to spend a weekend with his grandparents in Columbus, which they all just love!!!!!!

  
Titus had his first ride in the combine while great-grandpa was combining beans, then he also got to ride when they were shelling corn. Great-grandpa has found a new buddy to ride with him. Titus liked watching the beans & corn go into the combine and disappear. He would point and talk to grandpa about it. He also almost fell asleep both times.

Titus and I got to go with my parents to Lake Erie this past weekend. We had a great time playing in the water, being a tourist on Put-In-Bay, and got a special surprise on Saturday...daddy showed up to spend the day with us. I was very happy to see him, since he has been working extra it was nice to have some family time! I was glad to get away for a couple days

This coming weekend Titus is spending time with his grandparents in Columbus again. they just got back from a cruise and since Justin and I are going to an Ohio State game, we thought they would all like to see each other. I am looking forward to spending time with Justin!
